This heartening homeware features a full colour design with a pine green background and a colourful Bible verse. The Bible verse reads: ”Taste and see that the LORD is good” Psalm 34:8. It's my updated design on a previous favourite.
The tea towel is designed to be pretty, practical and sustainably produced. It’s made in the UK with 100% cotton (OEKO-TEX certified) and printed with water based pigment dyes.
It's packaged with a recycled kraft paper bellyband and sticker (both recyclable with household paper waste).
There's a hanging loop too, which I find particularly pleasing :-)
The tea towel size is approximately. 45 x 68cm and it's hemmed on all four sides.
The verse's metaphor is beautiful. We can hear all about how something tastes but that is nothing like actually tasting, experiencing and understanding it for ourselves.
How wonderful that God wants us to know him and how good he is. In the sense of taste and savouring good food we see a small reflection of the ultimate satisfaction and joy of being able to personally and communally know the good God.
This tea towel is a lovely reminder of this terrific truth each time you dry a dish. It would make a fab addition to your own home or as a hospitality, birthday or Christmas gift.
