These wonderful words are from the announcement made by the angel to the shepherd's at Jesus's birth.
“And the angel said to them, ‘Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.’” Luke 2:10.
Can you imagine it? Shepherds watching their flock at night when suddenly the heavens open with blazing light and a host of angels. Imagine their shock and fear and then an angel telling them that they don't need to be afraid there is good news of great joy for all people. Jesus has come.
