Abide With Me Compassion Card

Description
A hand lettered and illustrated design with words from the hymn “Abide with me”. The hymn was written by Henry Francis Lyte. The lyrics give voice at times of sorrow when we may find we have no words. I love the whole hymn but in particular this verse which I find helpful to pray for myself and others:
“Abide with me: fast falls the eventide; the darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide.
When other helpers fail and comforts flee, Help of the helpless, O abide with me.”
I created this design in partnership with BCUK (Biblical Counselling UK) as one of the resources at the BCUK 2024 Residential on Loss - the Hope of Christ in Sorrow.
Printed on a coated premium card stock that's scratch resistant on the outside. It's uncoated on the inside which makes it easy to write in. It’s also FSC certified meaning you're helping us to look after our planet.
The card is blank inside and comes with a recyclable kraft envelope.
