[Originally published in June 2021, we've updated it in 2022 to make sure we're still bringing you the best Christian cards for him this Father's Day!]
To those who have helped us walk through a hard year: from dads who have always been there, to grandads pouring into grandchildren’s lives, and godly men who have stepped up into the role.
Words are important and a card is a real chance to share with someone just how much they mean to you.
We’ve gathered up our favourite Christian Father’s Day cards to give you a jumping board - with encouraging messages and meaningful Bible verses on the front, leaving plenty of space to write a memorable message inside (or even on to the back if you write as much as we do!).
We love a good quote card and this one by Billy Graham couldn’t be more fitting for Father’s Day!
The quote reads 'A good father is one of the most, unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society ', the perfect encouragement for Dad (and with the blue muted colour scheme, it would also work well as a birthday card or just ‘thanks Dad’ card during the rest of the year).
The contemporary bold design of Proverbs 20:7 on this card makes it a great choice for Father’s Day from Scripture Bella.
With a modern and bold design, this card provides a fantastic way to speak blessing over your dad and thank him for the legacy he has laid down.
A quirky card for the men who know their Scripture (it’s a nod to Psalm 127:4-5), who said a Christian Father’s Day card had to be boring or samey?
We’re loving the fun approach by And Hope Designs and know there are going to be some dads who love archery out there that will really appreciate this card.
The warming words of Proverbs 23:24 (The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him) and the blue, yellow, and white colour scheme make this simple Father’s Day card a nice way to send your prayers and blessings to Dad this year.
We’re loving this abstract design Father’s Day card for Grandad (phew, that was a mouthful!) that comes with a chance to customise the name and add his favourite Bible verse or a meaningful quote below. A great way to make a truly personal card.
(There’s also a similar dad’s version to give your dad a customised card this year).
Modern, dark grey typography proves you can find tasteful and Bible-based religious Father’s Day cards and we absolutely love this version of Proverbs 20:7 by Christian Lettering Company.
The words speak a beautiful blessing over Dads who are leading by example and laying down a legacy for the next generation.
Encourage a man who has stepped into the nurturing role of father in your life with this blue splatter-effect Jeremiah 17:7 verse card: Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. An encouraging verse to uplift and cheer on the men in your life.
This bold design of Isaiah 40:31 is a fantastic Father’s Day card for those who perhaps don’t go by the name ‘Daddy’ but you want to show appreciation for this Father’s Day.
We love the reminder that God promises to renew the strength of those who hope in the Lord and, during these hard times, it’s the perfect card to send.
This funny card is a great way to celebrate the dad who loves a bit of tongue-in-cheek, from By the Brook Creations.
Featuring the words of Proverbs 23:24, “The father of a righteous child has great joy*", make sure to check out what the asterisk means at the bottom! A great way to give him a chuckle this Father's Day.
