There isn't long to go until Father's Day, and if you're in the habit of buying your dad a card on occasions like this, we've got a round-up of some of our favourites for you!
From abstract art in vibrant hues to sweet watercolour illustrations, to textile art inspired by scripture and monochrome lettering, read on to see some of our top picks for Father's Day Cards in 2018 from our community of Christian artists and designers.
This lovely lettered card by Christian Lettering Company features the beautiful verse from Psalm 37:23, which reads:
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD and He delights in his way." - Psalm 37:23
When the Psalms speak of a "good Man", we of course know that they are speaking of Christ, the only truly good man - but our fathers can wonderfully display the love of God to us. If your dad loves the Living God, this might be an encouraging card to give to him to say thanks for pointing you to Jesus.
This A6 card from Izzy and Pop has been popular so far this year! It's a lovely way to acknowledge all the ways your dad supports, encourages, and blesses you.
Printed on textured card, it features a monochrome heart and lettering design, created by Liz as part of her 2018 Father's Day range.
This luxury square card by Joy Jen Studio doesn't feature a Bible verse, but it's blank inside for your own message of thanks and encouragement.
Taken from an original piece of artwork by Jen, this design features a watercolour wash with abstract detail in teal and green alongside the words "Happy Father's Day" and it comes with a kraft envelope.
This card by Rachel Larlee Creates is taken from an original piece of textile art, and is a great way to encourage your dad to see his daily routine in a new light.
Originally created using applique and embroidery techniques, this design was inspired by Isaiah 61:3 which reads "... provide for those who grieve in Zion — to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendour."
The Living God is such a good Father to us, and provides us with so many ways to learn about His nature, including through His beautiful creation. This Father's Day card features two sweet watercolour bears illustrated by Zoe from Zoeprose, and is a lovely way to say thank you to your dad this Father's Day.
