Each sensory range channels a golden moment or two to fine tune a listening ear to what God is saying through mood and season and ultimately bring you to a good space :)
On a mission...
...to do something about the daily western struggle to find time to deeply care for oneself and celebrate others, the founding sister duo is passionate about the golden nuggets you get when you do slow down. They launched The Box Of and Goodspace Delivered in 2017 in response to finding beauty from ashes and deep rest during a challenging time in both of their lives when their mum was unwell.
The sister’s say:
“One of the biggest gifts you can give yourself and those you support is time out, time to heal, time to recharge. We had a tough season a few years back and with the business of work and life, we had to slow down and hold on tight to our anchor! Looking after your mental health is always something to be mindful of, but particularly with the textbook difficult ebbs and flows of life. We are passionate about supporting our own and others in daily practices and finding peace and calm in the storm and recalling encouragement.
Sometimes being a Christian everyone thinks you should have it together, but during our hard times we needed help and had wonderful friends and each other to send words of encouragement, little cards, postcards, candles, and items in the post, with great words.
The boxes and containers are a little space, always enlarging us to a better one. The opening ceremony as fascinating as the gift itself, because most of all it is a token of care. A nod to a special somebody, bothering to think about what you need or might be going through and sending their love from afar.
Good things and GOD things happen when you treat yourself right. Finding space and mindfulness to hear affirming words from the creator and to delight in His gift of life is one of the riches things we can do. It’s Gold!
