Pakistani cross / Woodcut print / Limited Edition Original Artwork
by Ellie Walker

Description
An original woodcut print, printed onto fine Japanese paper. Designed and printed entirely by hand, this is a high-quality original artwork.
This design is based on a a carved wooden cross that I had the privilege of seeing, made by Christians in Pakistan, a nation where Christians face persecution for their faith in Christ. This minimalist design depicts the bread and the cup within the symbol of the cross.
"When we bless the cup at the Lord’s Table, aren’t we sharing in the blood of Christ? And when we break the bread, aren’t we sharing in the body of Christ? And though we are many, we all eat from one loaf of bread, showing that we are one body." (1 Corinthians 10:15-17 NLT)
This print makes the perfect gift or artistic addition to your own home.
Each print is approximately 14.5 x 18.8 cm in size, it fits perfectly in a frame with a standard 5x7" (12.7 x 17.78 cm) window (as pictured). This design is a very limited run of 10 editions. Each print is signed and editioned by the artist.
----
Frame not included. Item comes fully packaged in a cellophane slip with cardboard backing.
If you would like advice as to how to frame your print to best effect, please feel free to message me.
----
*PLEASE NOTE*
Each print is slightly individual! Due to being handmade, each print varies slightly in terms of definition and detail and they include some speckles from the printing process - this is a natural result of woodcut printing and it is part of the design. All prints meet a high quality of finish. Individual prints may vary slightly in size.
The Japanese paper that this print is made from is high quality and tear-resistant, but also very delicate. Please handle with care, and please do not attempt to trim.
This minimalist woodcut depicts the body and blood of Christ within the cross, a reminder of Christ's love and sacrifice for all people.
