It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
God gives us spiritual gifts, this verse is telling us the greatest of these gifts is the grace of divine love and that all the gifts of the spirit lack any value and meaning if they are not motivated by love. Love last forever and this verse describes 15 different expressions of love and how we as Christians should apply them to not only our spouses, but to all people. Great card for weddings, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day or simply to send some love in an envelope.
