Little boats - Mark 4v36

Description
This piece has been developed in layers. I begin by creating hand painted and printed fabric, which is cut down and layered onto 100% cotton rag paper. I then develop the piece with mono printing and add free motion embroidery. Each original art work is sold unframed and presented on a sheet of mountboard. The edges of the rag paper sheet gives a rustic feel that reminds us we are made one of a kind by God, each with our own imperfections. The piece will then be wrapped in cellophane and protective packaging and sent recorded delivery via Royal mail.
Measurements:
The rag paper measures 20x20CMS and is mounted on board to make the final size 30×30cms. (This size will fit into the box frames available from Hobby craft. Ikea and The works stores.)
An original mixed media textile piece based on Mark 4, reminding us how our reactions in life storms can have ripple effects on the other 'boats' around us.
