One of the three pillars of Lent is prayer. Regardless of whether you use lent as a time to pray more, we can never pray enough, so why not form a habit of prayer this year on the approach to Easter?

This Lent prayer set features a tangible reminders to pray (a candle to light each day), a tangible reminder of what you’ve prayed about (a prayer journal to make note of your prayers and keep you focused) and a tangible reminder of who God is (a print of Psalm 119:114 to have somewhere visible). You can even use this verse as a starter to pray God’s word back to Him if you are unsure where to start with praying.

This lent set contains 2 straight candles that are 24cm tall and made of ivory wax. They have been hand painted with numbers and lines like advent candles to count down until Easter and remind you when you light one to pray. Each candle burns for around 8 hours, so you have around 20 minutes of light each day while you pray - a good amount of time to set aside.

The lent set also contains a 48 page lined notebook with a crown of thorns design on the front and the words “I need thee every hour” which is just one reason why we pray. Included are also 6 leaf stickers to stick on to the crown of thorns representing the new life we have in Christ because of His death and resurrection.

Finally, the lent set contains an A5 print of psalm 119:114 which is printed on to lightly textured paper for a luxurious feel.
