Kintsukuroi – ‘golden repair'
A Fine Art Print created from my original artwork.

Each print is individually hand-finished by delicately brushing along the cracks of the vase with a fine brush and metallic gold paint.

This is a high quality scan and exhibition quality digital print of my original painting using Epson UltraChrome HD Inks onto 100% Cotton Professional Fine Art Inkjet paper.

This print is available in paper size A4 [210 x 297mm] & A3 [297x420mm].

It comes unmounted and unframed & is signed and stamped on the back.

Prints are carefully packaged with a backboard for support and sealed in a clear cellophane sleeve embellished in the top right corner with a little 'Rara Makes' label.

Prints are shipped either flat in strong rigid cardboard envelopes or rolled in heavy duty postal tubes.

Some thoughts/reflections on this artwork:

I absolutely love this Japanese art form, Kintsukuroi which means, 'to repair with gold,' where something precious that has been cracked and broken is not tossed aside or hidden away. All the pieces are kept and the item is not only delicately put back together using gold lacquer but acquires new strength and becomes even more beautiful from the process. For me, it's a powerful spiritual metaphor for what the heart of a tender loving Heavenly Father longs and loves to do with the broken pieces of our lives and speaks to me of the amazing Kingdom grace and redemption made possible because of Jesus Christ.

May this image speak a declaration of Kingdom hope from wherever it is displayed - Beauty instead of ashes, Joy instead of mourning, and Praise instead of a spirit of despair. [Is 61:3] -Karen
