'I AM the Breath [pneúma] in Your Sails' - A fine art print of my mixed media painting
I created this piece shortly after I set out on the new adventure of becoming an artist, when inside my heart felt like a whirling mix of excitement and anticipation alongside real questions, doubts and fears. As the painting took shape, these were the encouraging words that came to me.. words about identity, belonging and being known, being called and lovingly guided in this adventure called life! Such words of reassurance! The One who calls Himself 'I AM' in Exodus 3:14 - the One who exists like no other, who is in His very essence Life, Eternal, Unchanging, Incomprehensible - is the same God in Whom I live, move and have my being. The greek word 'pneúma' when it appears in New Testament can mean breath, wind or Spirit and I love this fuller meaning. He is breath to my lungs, life in my spirit and like the wind, He guides my way.
This print would make a beautiful encouragement gift and a wonderful addition to any home.
