The hand lettering says “congrats on your cute squishy arrow” which is a reference to the verse in psalm 127:4 which says “as arrows are in the hand of a warrior, so are children of the youth”. Newborn babies are more cute and squishy than arrows though!
The Bible reference is printed at the bottom of the card in case the recipient isn’t familiar with the reference, ensuring they will enjoy and understand this card.
This A6 card is perfect for any black baby being welcomed in to the world and would also be suitable for an adopted baby. What a blessing these children are! The baby is dressed in a green onesie which makes this card suitable for both a baby boy and a baby girl. It is also available with a baby with white skin on it, you can find this in my shop.
This new baby card is printed on premium lightly textured card and comes with an opaque white envelope.
If you have left it a bit late, I can hand write your message for you and post it directly to the recipient. Just enter your message in the notes at checkout and make sure to pop their address in, not yours!
Meet the Maker
Luxury cards, prints and gifts using hand lettering, illustration and watercolour to bring joy, encouragement and hope.
And Hope Designs began in 2020 out of a need to be creative when wedding photography was no longer an option due to a fourth child and a relocation.
Anna began to paint and, in time, created cards and prints that were designed to bring joy and encouragement. A lot of her products are based on things that she loves - gardening, baking, the Bible, motherhood, florals and botanicals.
With a passion for good quality and paper goods, all her cards are printed on premium lightly textured card, and all other products are printed locally with the best materials so that everything she makes exceeds expectations and is a joy to give and a delight to receive.
The name And Hope Designs comes from the verse in Romans 5:5 “ And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.” What assurance!
Anna has spent large chunks of her life in England, France and Scotland. She now lives in Belfast with her husband Iain, and their 4 young children. They’re at an age where they love to be involved so your order may well be lovingly stamped and/or posted by a young postie helper.
