A joyful greetings card featuring an original textile collage.
The original textile collage was inspired by the words from Isaiah 12:6. It inspired a little doodle in my sketchbook which was then recreated in fabric and thread. Beautiful old pieces of linen and lace were collaged together before being hand-printed, appliqued and embellished with embroidery.
The original embroidery has been digitally printed and made into a greeting card ready to pop in the post to a special someone. Blank inside for your own lovely words!
Printed onto 300gsm soft white card, and packaged with a white envelope in a clear celo bag. Cards are 127x177mm and envelopes 133x184mm.
