Creative Business Mastermind Groups
“Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.” Mark Ambrose
“Surround yourself with positive people who believe in your dreams, encourage your ideas, support your ambitions, and bring out the best in you.” Roy Bennett
These Mastermind Groups are small-scale, elite support groups for ambitious business owners who want to accelerate their business growth, gain momentum, find clarity, and take courageous action. We're creating a confidential, tight-knit community of support to tackle problems with a focus on creating sustainable, profitable businesses.
Social media, email marketing, product design, stock control, bookkeeping, performance measurement, management accounts, sales funnels, content creation, SEO, website management. It’s all a bit overwhelming, isn’t it?
Whether you’re an established business owner who feels like you’ve reached an income ceiling in your business, or you’re just starting out and sales are slow, overwhelm is something that affects us at every stage of business.
You are the visionary and creative director of your business, but the pressure of making sales and the daily admin that running a business demands has left you feeling uninspired and lacking in momentum.
If you find yourself procrastinating instead of tackling the problems in your business, if you’re struggling to know where your business can go from here, if you know you have mad skills but you’re feeling overwhelmed, and if you’re ready to level-up your business, then our Mastermind Group Programme is for you.
Everybody has dreams for their life and business, but not everybody does something about it.
Mastermind Groups are extremely common in the business world, but many creative business owners don't have access to this kind of structured support.
They are a mix between an online course and a support group, and are made up of 5-6 people at a similar stage of business to you. Each group will only have one member from each creative discipline, e.g. only one photographer, or only one graphic designer. You’ll brainstorm new ideas for other people’s challenges and get feedback and ideas for your own.
The groups are about making connections and troubleshooting problems to help accelerate your business. It's focused time to work on business-critical things. It’s a way to get fresh perspective and take a 30,000 ft look at your business so you can fall in love with it again. It’s about income-generating, confidence-boosting, supportive community that will leave you feeling motivated and creatively inspired.
Whether it’s a new product launch, setting up marketing campaigns, scaling up or into a new market, or implementing all the stuff you know you should be doing but don't have time for, joining one of our Mastermind Groups will provide you with the inspiration and accountability to help you move your business forward.
You’ll have more confidence in your abilities, you’ll feel energized by bouncing your ideas off others. We’ll help you focus on making your business more profitable, and support you in developing systems and processes that liberate you from the daily admin that crushes your creative inspiration. Whatever your goal is for the next six months, we’ll support you to take action and make it happen.
You will make lasting connections and grow your network. As Todd Herman says, business moves at the speed of relationships. Your mastermind is a space to suspend your disbelief and dream big for your business. It’s your sounding board made up of people who will support you towards those goals.
Our Mastermind Groups are facilitated by Emma Rees and Menekse Stewart. Between them, they’ve earned millions for creative businesses. Emma as an illustrator and product designer with an eye for trends and a deep understanding of what sells in product-based businesses (as Menekse says [much to Emma's embarrassment], an all-round creative genius!); Menekse as the founder of Cheerfully Given, as well as being a freelance Facebook Ads and SEO expert with a head for numbers.
Groups are created based on the stage of business you’re at:
- Dreaming: you haven’t made any sales yet
- Starting: you’ve been in business 1-2 years
- Scaling: you’ve been in business 3-5 years
- Ramping: you’ve been in business 5+ years
We’ll ask a couple of other broad questions when you express your interest just to make sure you’re grouped with people who will be able to provide shared value.
If you’re planning the next three years of your business, if you’re trying to get something off the ground, if you’re feeling pulled in every direction, if you’re wanting to take the leap into full-time business owner, if you feel like you’ve hit a plateau, then these groups are for you.
If you want to grow your business, if you’re ready to take action, if you want a support network of creative cheerleaders, then these groups are for you.
Depending on the particular challenges being faced by each group, we will cover lots of different topics including but not limited to product development; business; finance and profitability; systems and processes; marketing and communications; personal development; and productivity. The six month programme will include:
- 6 x 90-minute Zoom calls (once a month for 6 months) with session worksheets to help you document and reflect
- Extra support via a dedicated Slack channel for the six-month duration of the programme
- Actionable advice and exercises
- Resources and templates to help you action plan
- An exclusive annual retreat for Masterminders to focus on business growth (This will be charged separately but is only eligible for people who have been through a Mastermind group.)
- A new group of colleagues who have got your back
We're launching these at a special, low price -- the next round will go up to £55 a month or £300 up front. If you sign up to this round, we'll hold this price for you for the next round as well -- double bargain!

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I have to miss a meeting?
If you have to miss one of the meetings, we will schedule a 30-minute 1-1 session to catch up with you.
What if I'm in a group with people less experienced?
Groups are created according to the stage of business you're in to make sure you’re getting value as well as giving it.
What about confidentiality?
We will be carefully creating groups where each person's creative discipline is as unique as possible to the group. Members will make a commitment to confidentiality as part of the signing up process, and the expectation is that what is said in the group stays in the group. Anybody who breaches confidentiality will be removed from the programme (no refunds). You will have access to recordings of the calls for the 6 month programme so you can take notes, after which they will be permanently deleted.
