Our new website, full of unique Christian gifts, is now live!
If you’re a Cheerfully Given regular, you will, no doubt, have seen that our new website has been live for a few days now. Hurray!
So here it is – after a huge amount of work from Josh, Cat and me over the past six or so months, we’ve finally got a website that showcases the designers and makers who make up our seller community in a much more beautiful and user-friendly way.
It’s such a surreal experience browsing through it and seeing that it’s now a reality – a range of unique Christian gifts from over 70 designers and makers in the UK, all exhibited on once beautiful platform. Glory!
Extra, extra, read all about it!
Since it launched, Josh has been busy building all the extra features that we didn’t quite have time for before making the switch from the old site.
Today, we super are excited to launch our new blog. A regular blog has always been part of our longer-term goal, but unfortunately our old website wasn’t quite up to the task.
Coming up, we’ll also have a wish list feature, an “Apply to Sell” page, a workshops page, and things like a contact form on the “Contact us” page.
What can you expect from the blog?
Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sharing Meet the Maker features, studies that look at various aspects of creativity in the Bible and the church, creative DIYs, and interviews with some of our favourite creatives among other things. We hope that it will be a place of community, encouragement, and joy!
A shout out to our incredible Kickstarter backers
This website wouldn’t have been possible without our phenomenal Kickstarter backers. 426 incredibly generous individuals from around the world pledged to make this website a reality, and our whole community is so grateful. We hope it lives up to your expectations, and we pray that Jesus would be proclaimed through everything we’re doing here.
The final few Kickstarter rewards were dispatched today, the day that our new blog is ready to launch. It’s an exciting time, this start of something new, and we are all waiting with baited breath to see what the Living God has in store for this organisation and the wonderful community that has made it so brilliant.
In memory of Frances Margaret Linn
This blog is dedicated to the memory of Frances Margaret Linn, who made a very generous contribution to our Kickstarter campaign, but sadly died before the new website was finished.
Frances was an extremely dear family friend, and has always shown a huge amount of love and support for me and my family. She bought my brother and me one of our first Bibles, and was the embodiment of a strong, brave, loving woman of God.
A faithful and kind follower of the King, Frances’s care and warmth have touched the lives of many, and we are comforted knowing that she is with Christ in glory.
Kindest to the greatest and the least,
Gentleness that sows the path of peace.
Turn my strivings into works of grace;
Breath of God show Christ in all I do.
