Here at Cheerfully Given we love celebrating creativity and sharing Jesus - and we’re not scared of doing that in radical ways. So when Menekşe casually declared in spring of 2020 we were doing a Creative Christianity Summit, we got excited. 500+ man hours later, a lot of arrow prayers to Heaven, and many glares at technology, we got there.
Where was there? An online conference with sessions ranging from in-depth Bible studies to live interviews with culture changers, from Bible journaling workshops to lessons on making creativity accessible to all.
Some of us learnt we are actually creative (despite not being able to draw a sketch even our toddler can identify), some of us learnt that God is a Father who longs to remind His children of their identity, and some of us are still trying to absorb as much as we can! (Advantage of a year long subscription - no one had to watch everything in one week!)
The figures blew us away:
30+ countries represented
That’s nearly 2000 people encouraged, inspired, and challenged to see creativity as a bigger part of our identity as believers.
As we look forward to celebrating the 2021 Creative Christianity Summit (tickets are already available), we’re going to share some of our favourite moments from the Creative Christianity Summit 2020 (it’s taken us this long to catch our breath at the Cheerfully Given HQ!). It was an absolutely mental five days which left many of us simultaneously (gasping for breath) and luxuriating in sharing an online space with like-minded creatives who are passionate about sharing Jesus with their world.
Sign up for the 2021 Creative Christianity Summit here and join us in exploring faith & creativity, taking place online from 15-19 June 2021.
