Social & Email Marketing Implementer

We are looking for a marketing implementer to schedule and publish content across our social media channels and our email marketing software.

Cheerfully Given is passionate about sharing Jesus through creativity.

Our brand supports over 240 Christian artists and designers through our commerce marketplace and our resources for Christian business owners, as well as creating digital events and experiences for people to connect with Jesus through the creative and visual arts.

We want to grow a joyful and colourful community of people who are passionate about sharing the life of Christ in every area of their lives, and we believe that visual reminders of Jesus are not only a way to encourage the church but are a great way to open conversations with those who don’t yet know the Living God.

We are a UK-based company with a small, fully remote team.

As a Social & Email Marketing Implementer for Cheerfully Given, you’ll get to schedule and publish content that shares our story and vision, promotes our community, and makes an impact across our various digital platforms.

This will include...

  • Ensuring that content is published and scheduled across the brand’s social and email channels each week in line with the editorial calendar.

  • Liaising with the Head of Marketing for content strategy, and working with our wider community via internal processes to ensure the timely delivery of content for publishing.

  • Collaborating with other team members, including copywriters and other content creators, to ensure that content is delivered to our audience regularly and with a high level of quality.

  • Working with the wider team to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages.

  • Identifying opportunities for proactively engaging with our community and building relationships.

  • Become the resident expert of our social and email toolsets, using them to do everything from staging and publishing content to listening and pulling metrics.

  • Analysing and assessing results & metrics, including visitor data and the overall efficacy of content.

This is a fully remote, part-time role, and is freelance for an initial 6-month contract with a 3-month review.

We are looking for someone who has…

  • Professional experience working in social media marketing and with email marketing software

  • Technical confidence adapting to new platforms

  • A high level of attention to detail, including formatting content, proofreading, and overall quality control

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills

  • Experience working within a project management framework, and confidence and drive to see tasks through to completion

We are looking for someone who is…

  • Forward-thinking, well-organised and has an obsession for detail.

  • Confident being part of a wider remote team, working to complete goals and tasks proactively and with tight timelines. Someone who enjoys managing multiple content projects at once.

We are specifically looking for a confident implementer & action-taker for this role, with project management and attention to detail being of key importance. It is not a content creation role.
