Her Joyful Heart

Joyfully illustrated bright, cheerful and encouraging prints, cards and gifts, inspired by faith and nature!

Hi I'm Ruth! Thanks so much for popping by! :-)

I'm so excited to be part of this awesome community of sellers, and hope you enjoy browsing my work. Most of my inspiration comes from the beauty in nature all around us - God's wonderful creation! Plus I'm inspired by God himself and his unconditional and all encompassing love for us!

I offer a range of bright and cheerful prints and cards and some gifts in my shop, all of which feature my illustrations. I mix traditional drawing techniques using pencil and black ink, with digital art programs to add colour and soul. It makes me so happy to see my initial ideas gradually being brought to life! My hope is that in some way others may be inspired and encouraged by what they see.

Due to living with a serious chronic illness since childhood, I've discovered that being creative has been a great tonic for me as it helps focus my mind on something positive, which in turn, helps to take my mind off pain and other symptoms I may be experiencing. Also since becoming  Christian three years ago, when I experienced God's love for myself, it's been a privilege to be able to express some of the joy and gratitude I feel, through my artwork. It serves as a great comfort to me, that no matter how much we suffer on this earth, God is always with us and will never leave us, and one day we will be called home to him! WOWSERS!

I would love for you to connect with me! I'm on Facebook @herjoyfulheart and Instagram @herjoyful.heart  I'm also on Pinterest.

Have a blessed day, and hope to see you soon!
