This listing is for a fine art digital print of my original acrylic painting.
I have this thing with birds in flight. This is my painting depicting an eagle, massive enough to be carrying a person on its back, flying through a tunnel away from a situation of extreme darkness into a spacious place of Light that is both brilliant & blinding!!

Based (loosely) upon the wonderful verse from Isaiah 40:31 (above) which was in my mind as I began, it was almost entirely finger-painted with the exception of the tinier details. I love this piece because of the picture of rescue it portrays.
It’s an image that repeatedly takes my mind to the end of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and the end of 'The Return of the King', where the great eagles come, once the ring has been destroyed, to rescue Frodo and Sam from the fires of Mordor.
A scene I always find very moving.
This print would make a great gift and a wonderful addition to any home, perhaps especially to those fond of Isaiah 40:31 or Lord of the Rings!
