Product description

I created this piece after 'seeing' it in my minds eye as I was praying into a concerning situation. I found it a moving and beautiful picture and felt compelled to try and capture it in paint.

Like the Psalmist, I think we too can find ourselves crying out to God for mercy over the circumstances that are close to our hearts. The biblical texts of Psalm 130 & 131 had been in my head as I began painting.

What I 'saw' was a person who was heavy-hearted but had their face and hands raised heavenward in surrender and worship. The sky was very dark and stormy above them, but then it was as if there came a breaking-through of light amidst the black cloud.

And then the rains came! Not a light shower but a heavy downpour! This outpouring was full of colour! Rains of refreshing and abundance, FULL of everything good! And I could see that within each of the raindrops came empowerment from the Father..these droplets carried His love and peace, courage, strength, mercy, help, goodness, kindness, grace, light, inheritance, triumph, blessing, praise..and much more! These rains were heavens healing streams flowing down over this persons mind, body and spirit!

This print would make a great gift and a wonderful declaration in any home.

Your print is carefully packaged with a backboard for support and sealed in a clear cellophane sleeve embellished in the top right corner with a little 'Rara Makes' label.

All prints are shipped in strong cardboard envelopes.
