He loves me, he loves me, he loves me

Description
In the end, although we are called to renew our minds, and to be more like Jesus… our core wellbeing is rooted in the one who formed us and who LOVES us, and remembering this love. God adores us, even when we have a pity party, or emotionally explode, or wish we had legs like Bella and Gigi Hadid instead of our stumps. He loves us on the journey of becoming more and more like him, more and more emotionally, mentally and spiritually healthy. And he loves us because his love doesn't depend on our performances, our holiness, or our circumstances.
Remember that thing that people used to do with flower petals? You’d use the flower as a test, pulling off petals saying ‘he loves me, he loves me not,he loves me, he loves me not’...To what extent does your concept of God's love for you depend on your circumstances? You get a parking space, he loves you. You get ill, he loves you not. And what about your actions? You share your faith, he loves you. You lose your temper, he loves you not... God loves you and his love doesn't change according to circumstances or personal holiness. With God there is only one thing to say with each pluck of the petal. He loves me, he loves me, he loves me. Isaiah says ' You will keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you'. If we can train our minds to remain focussed on this truth; ‘he loves me, he loves me, he loves me’, we will find ourselves in a state of wellbeing that no circumstance can sway, and no opinion can shake. He loves you, he loves you, he loves you.
