This range of necklaces is inspired by the variety and wonder of creation. I am constantly amazed and humbled by the beauty of the world around us and I love the creative gifts God has put into His world. This particular necklace aims to celebrate the beauty of creation. The sweet little white flowers are set on a soft blue background. For more in this range please look at the other items in my shop.
The necklace is a delicate fabric print in a wooden mini hoop, hung from a 54cm antique bronze style chain.

Beautifully handmade and hand spun items, inspired by an everyday walk with Christ, by Beth Butcher.
I am an Urban Spinner and Textile Artist from London. I love the vibrancy and colour that comes with living in a multi cultural city. There is so much beauty to be inspired by!
I work with many different mediums including felt; weaving; sewing; watercolours and hand spun yarn. Our God is a creative God and I love working with many different things, either separately or combining them to make beautifully unique items.
I've been a Christian for over 20 years and my walk with God is a huge part of my inspiration, even if it isn't immediately obvious how. I love His creation and am constantly amazed and inspired by it. I also love His love for people and it is this love that challenged me to start creating things for Christians.
All my items are carefully thought out and prayed through. My hand spun kits for example, came about when I was struggling with my health (I have ME) and God showed me how being creative can be therapeutic. Creating something beautiful yourself is hugely rewarding and enjoyable, and reflects a little of our creator God. My hope is that people enjoy making something themselves and have fun relaxing while they make one of my kits. They are all beginner or advanced beginner patterns and all small projects that aren't too hard to finish.
I spin only natural fibres and hand paint all of my coloured yarn. If you are interested in any of the processes that go into making my yarn, please look at the website.
When I'm not creating I'm usually thinking about creating, or trying to keep up with the business of life in a big city!
