Dear Aslan! - C.S. Lewis Narnia Print
by Rara Makes
I painted Aslan because I wanted to try and capture something of what I imagined Lucy saw in Aslan's eyes and in his warm and welcoming 'large wise face.'

I love C.S. Lewis's Narnia stories and there's just something about the beautiful relationship between Lucy and Aslan described within them that touches something deep in my heart.
I painted this after reading the 'Prince Caspian' story and being particularly stirred by the part in Chapter 10, 'The Return of the Lion' when Lucy and Aslan meet again in the woods after a long time apart. I guess I wanted to try and capture something of what I imagined Lucy saw in Aslan's eyes and in his warm and welcoming 'large wise face.'
This listing is for a fine art digital print of my original acrylic painting of Aslan.
This print would make a great gift and a wonderful addition to any home, perhaps especially that of a Narnia lover!
Your print is carefully packaged with a backboard for support and sealed in a clear cellophane sleeve embellished in the top right corner with a little 'Rara Makes' label.
All prints are shipped in strong cardboard envelopes.
