Be lovers bold in broken places - 8x10 print
Hand lettered print of the quote 'be lovers bold in broken places'. A perfect reminder to love extravagantly, particularly those who need it most.

A while back, I read a blog written by what you might call an 'urban missionary' - someone who had moved to a city in the UK to tell people about Jesus. She wrote about how felt called to love people without limits; extravagantly and completely. She spoke about how needed and necessary it was, particularly in some of the most deprived parts of the city, and how people were desperate to experience love of any kind. I was utterly struck by how simple it is - to love people; but how hard it can be to do so in a bold and extravagant way, sometimes inconvenient to our every day lives, inconvenient to our comfort zones and inconvenient to our preferences.
I created this print as a challenge to myself to love more, but also in the hope of challenging those who buy it, to love extravagantly in the places that needed it most.
Materials: printed onto 340gsm fine art uncoated hammered paper, providing a subtle textured feel. The inks used provide vibrant colours and even finishes, giving a premium finish.
Please note, the print comes unframed.
All prints will be packaged in a cellophane wrap and cardboard protected envelope to ensure safe delivery.

Meet the Maker
London based hand lettering artist, hoping to bring a little bit more joy to life through handmade, hand lettered artwork.
Hello, I'm Alice, the creator behind Type by Alice. My aim is to create beautiful, high quality hand lettered artwork that inspires and encourages others.
I started hand lettering just over 4 years ago as a hobby. I had always loved art and would call myself 'creative', but hadn't quite found my niche. Until one day, I was looking to buy a print of a bible verse, and couldn't find one I liked. I thought 'I can do this!', and so I did! Friends then asked me to create hand lettered artwork for them, and thus, Type by Alice was born. Over the years, it has grown into a business selling creative gifts and prints, bespoke pieces, wedding stationary, design work and greetings cards, and is now helping to support me and my husband as I train to be a paediatric nurse in London.
For me personally, good design and the overall aesthetic of artwork are important, and I aim to create pieces I can be proud of, but also the people who choose to buy my lettering can be proud to have in their homes or gift others with. So I hope you enjoy my work!
Please do contact me with any queries, and head over to my instagram (@typebyalice) and Facebook page (Type by Alice) for updates of what I'm doing.
