A note from Karen..

The words in this piece are a beautiful invitation lifted straight from Song of Solomon 2:10-12

'My beloved spoke and said to me,
“Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me.
See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves is heard in our land.'

In this painting, I see a doorway, an archway.. an invitation to arise from where I am and 'come away' and 'see' the new things/ new season that He is setting in motion.

Thanks so much for visiting and viewing my work!
